At .cloud we are leveraging emerging platforms, and the standard format for managed hosting. We have had the privilege of working closely with the developers of Pelican, a new approach to an older platform known as Pterodactyl. The Pelican team has been nothing short of amazing. For an open source software project their support of users is above and beyond. As it is in its beta stage as it grows our capabilities have grown significantly. Our goal for customer data retention is now so easily achieved it’s not even a discussion point. The ability to leverage cloud storage is completely available and we take advantage of it readily. We have begun to deploy advanced hosting projects like an Ark Ascended map cluster utilizing Pelican and it is a seamless and technically strong achievement. This customer is among the groups we want to provide our services for. Managing technically intense and highly involved hosting solutions. We remain interested in the technology and the utilities we use as a passion and not just as a paycheck.
