Sic semper tyrannis! and why customer data is a tenant of our business.
This is essentially why we have moved into the business of dedicated hosting. A good friend and now a customer had their Minecraft server hosted by a company who after my exchange with their support team and “Director” will just be known as Illogical Hosting. It is entirely ethical to put your hands in the air when there is data loss and someone has not secured their data, however if incompetence and pushing for redline in a production environment leads to hastily made decisions, and rather than follow good tenants of leadership and take ownership for a mistake, while admittedly drunk and drinking in a pub you LinkedIn message someone “they should go learn to backup a server”.
In response to this I say “Sic semper tyrannis!” This is why we are here. This is why one of our firm tenants is customer data is immutable. The applications and latent integrations to make sure no data loss occurs barring corruption or bad data makes it very unlikely it can occur.

Who in tandem with being the best service I use is my biggest competitor. We’re in this space to prove that you can provide vendor level service to gamers and their collective groups like you would any individual or business who uses their buying power to select you.
Note: It should also go without saying that to celebrate Independence Day we may enjoy a pint or two, with a wink and a nod to our mentioned British competitor. We just made sure the backup job has run before hand.
